This semester, we are participating in NGO CSW's 62nd Forum. The priority themes of this year are challenges and opportunities for gender equality and the empowerment of rural girls and women. Nonviolence International New York strongly supports the mission of NGO CSW/NY to promote gender equality because women's rights are human rights.

Now, more than ever, there's a strong call-to-action to press forward and progress gender parity. There's a strong call to #PressforProgress motivating and uniting friends, colleagues and whole communities to think, act and be gender inclusive.

Gender rights issues are human rights issues. The HeForShe campaign is a movement for social change and gender equality.
